Welcome to Sing for Life
The Sing for Life Breast Cancer Foundation of Arizona embraces the benefits of music as a complementary therapy for patients struggling to cope with breast cancer. The nonprofit foundation provides support to patients and their families through its various musical endeavors.
Foundation Goals
- Fundraising through live performances and the production and sale of music CDs.
- The proceeds are used to award grants designed to fulfill a personal educational need or project designed to assist cancer patients and their families.
- Grants are awarded to health-profession students demonstrating an interest in oncology, or an individual who best exemplifies the mission of the Foundation.
- Long term goals include establishment of local, regional and national chapters.

About the Foundation
Sing for Life Breast Cancer Foundation, is a nonprofit Arizona based organization founded by breast cancer survivor and professional singer, Laura Fial. Laura gained support throughout this diagnosis by surrounding herself with others afflicted with breast cancer. In 2001 a choir of breast cancer survivors known as "The Soul Survivors" was born. "The Soul Survivors" perform for free at a variety of fundraisers in the greater Phoenix area.
In addition, the organization has awarded grants to the breast cancer support group "Breast Buds" and the City of Phoenix Wellness Center in recognition of their effort to support those fighting cancer. Sing for Life Breast Cancer Foundation will award at least one annual scholarship in the name of "The Soul Survivors". The scholarship is designed to fulfill a personal educational need or project to assist cancer patients and their families.
